   I have been doing my own nails for 20 years and for most of those years, I was buying my nail drills at the drugstore and replacing them every year or so. When my last one finally died, I decided to try this one instead and WOW!! This one has so much power and helps me get the job done in half the time. Warning though, if you are new to doing your own nails, only use low speed with the sanding bands on natural nails or it will hurt like hell!

I was worried it would be cheap plastic, but instead it's a sturdy metal casing with several interchangeable tips. It was quiet and never got hot while I used it. The instructions were fairly clear and I feel it did a good job of removing cuticles, smoothing edges and removing ridges. So far, so good!

   I recently started doing my own gel manicures at home and was looking for a good drill to use on my self. I like that it can rotate in both directions and how small and quiet it is. After a few minutes, it does get slightly warm but not something you would notice while using. The drill bits are nice and if you put it on your skin, its not rough enough to hurt you. I would recommend this drill if you are a beginner like me and like to do your own gel nails at home

It also shows the type of files you can advance to once you get comfortable using it. The holder (not sure if that is the right wording) for the files is light weight and easy to control.
