    I'd never used a laser level before but felt that such a tool was useful. The Level Laser Pro3 seemed efficient and reasonably priced. The product came the next day and was everything as advertised. I did a stupid thing: instead of moving the laser aperture up and down to get the various horizontal, vertical, and crossed lines, I tried to move the settings by revolving the aperture opening with a slotted screwdriver. Big mistake! Always helpful to read the directions first. I threw the calibration of the laser lines off and thought I had ruined my investment. I emailed the support email address and explained my situation. It was a Sunday, but I got a response from tech Judy within an hour, and she sent me a diagram as to how to recalibrate my laser which was pretty easy to do. I salute this company and its product!

    A great buy for the money. I needed it to help lay some flagstone against a patio extending from the house. First thing to do is build a retaining wall about 10 ft away. So, I need to determine the height so I can order the material. It's surprising how deceiving it is just by looking at it. And finally and more critically, I need to lay the flagstone with a slight slope away from the house. This laser level is very helpful in setting this up. I'll check the work as I go re: levelling - but this tool is very helpful to get started. One downside is that the laser is not visible when working outside in bright light - I had to wait to use it near sundown or when it was very cloudy. I suspect this would be a common limitation for most laser levels.

My only gripe is that the tape measure doesn't work very well, it doesn't stay locked in place and is very flimsy, it was bent as soon as i pulled it out once.
