But a couple of minutes after putting them on (seemed like his eyes needed time to adjust at first), he burst into tears. He spent the next 2 hours going around the house looking at everything and asking me what colour it was. Reds that looked brown were now a bright orange red, he could distinguish between purple and navy, vibrant fuschia was no longer a dark pink. It was amazing. The downside? He said he never realized how dull his world was. He said everything had more saturated colour with the glasses on. But he said he was still glad he got them and that he hadn't been this excited about a birthday present since he was 4 years old.

He saw red for the 1st time in his life. See video. Emotional and amazing when he sees his red shoes. I would recommend these glasses. You can't put a price on the reaction of someone who has never seen a color. Now I must say my dad is red green blue colorblind and they didn't work on him. It just made the greens brighter. These glasses are meant for red green not other colors. They glasses are like sunglasses and look good. They fit good on my son and my father. Please try them if you know a red green colorblind person. It's amazing!
