   I have naturally black hair bleached to a light blonde, and I used the smokey silver to re-tone my hair. For everyone saying the dye does not work, your hair probably is not light enough. The silver comes out darker at first, but lightens up after a few washes, which is pretty standard.The conditioner that comes with the kit is magic. Not really a problem for me, but it does get all over your hands.

   I liked the color, but where it is from Thialand i I remember right there wasn't a very descriptive set of instructions in English to go by. It just said to mix the ingredients with equal parts of peroxide so I don't think when I used it I done it right cause I don't know what it meant. But if they could put clear instructions and exact measurements of how much peroxide is supposed to be mixed with it the product would be perfect.

   I am letting my hair go grey, and bought a splat kit so that i could put some grey highlights (the kit where you bleach first, then use the grey color that also comes in the kit) in order to blend what I already had. Completely made an orange mess, with zero toning/gray color.I used this kit over the orange mess, and it worked GREAT! Highly recommend, but you do want to use it on lighter hair, the darker hair didn't do much, other than blend more ( which I wanted).

   Hopefully this before and after photo helps. My hair is normally dark and had been bleached to the blonde , it had not been colored in about 6 weeks. I bought this color on a whim and I was very pleased with the results. I did leave it on for 40 minutes and I would recommend 2 boxes for shoulder length hair. It does have a slight violet tint, however that has became more silver with a few washes. I will be purchasing in the future. My husband loves the silvery color.

   I have been in pursuit of this color for awhile. I just didn't know it, exactly. After I tried multiple brands and I am usually a firm Ion user, this one gave me the color I wanted. I am strawberry blonde so I did do a bleach wash first and then I use Bond Angel during the bleach process so my hair doesn't dry out and break off. This laid down a beautiful color and my hair feels perfect. I will use this again until I'm ready to return to my mermaid colors again. Unfortunately my selfy doesn't do it justice.

   I think the problem people have when they buy hair dye is that they don’t have enough for how much hair they have. Are use pretty much the whole thing and at the time I only had about four or 5 inches of hair. It worked exactly how I wanted it to work it was the color I wanted exactly! It was very long lasting I have since shaved my head again.If I was going to dye my hair again I would most likely choose this hair dye again. I wanted to add a picture of when I put it in but I guess I can’t add photos that are on my camera reel? At least not at the moment

   I had taken great care of my newly colored hair by using all of the correct salon formula recommended hair care products for color trated hair, but all of the gray pigment had washed away after just a week. The metalic shine could still be seen within my hair along with turning my hair yellow :( , but no gray color was left to be seen. The color was beautiful when first done. My hair looked like billowy storm clouds, but it didn't last at all. I would not recommend the purchase of this product for use. Hopefully, the manufacturer will develop a gray pigment that will be more pronounced and longer lasting. I had to get my hair cut short to get most of the yellow out. I still have more yellow hair to remove, but it will grow out. Take care and find an alternative product.
