I bleached my hair at home, gave it a day to rest, then colored my hair with this dye, worked like a charm. I'm a brunette btw, even if you are blonde, you still need to bleach your hair if you want this beautiful color to work.

Be sure to tone any brassiness out of the blonde before applying this dye as the brassiness has a tendency to show through.
