I was a little skeptical at first because of the length but the way it is designed with the aluminum spreader bars it make for a nice comfortable bed. My wife and I both enjoyed lounging in it but we are under 5'8". It seems like it would still be ok for anyone up to 6' as I shifted around while checking it out. The hanging hardware appears to be top notch. It came with "eno like" tree straps, aluminum stakes for spreading the bed and nice aluminum carabiners which mad setting up a breeze. I have not used this on the trail yet (will update later) but it has held up nicely during 2 storms in the woods near my house.
