I'm able to get the really fine undercoat that is normally shedding everywhere, or causing matting or fur balls when she's trying to keep up with it on her own during the shedding season. Her coat is now light and silky, easy for her to preen. Cleaning the brush is super easy! Be careful, while lightweight, the wire bristles are still a bit sharp if you press/brush too hard.

I brush the cats down and push the button which cleanly pops out all collected hair in a lair for the bin. and it pops out the lair of fur for the bin.My boys are short-haired cats, so I can't speak to how the experience would be on longer furs; but it does the job very well on short fur. With this brush it's softer but still gets his hair brushed out nicely. He absolutely loves this brush and will willingly roll over so we can brush his belly and other side. He also loves rubbing his head on it. The button to get all of the hair out also works great and makes the brushing process soooo much easier since it can fill up quickly with cat hair.
