It gets all our dishes super clean and the kids think it's fun to use! It's not super powerful and it's not perfect, but it's not made to be. I definitely wouldn't use it for clothes. I still get that smell and a residue with dishwashers and steam sanitizers. This device also seems safe as long as I've had it which is a couple months now, I've never had any weird electrical problems and I leave it plugged in most of the time and just toss it in with water every night to clean bottles. By getting soapy water inside the tubing, adding that and all other parts to the iSonic PB4860A Plastic Basket for Ultrasonic Cleaner P4860, which I've set inside my dish basin, I can get them all clean without having to reach into corners of everything. I use hot water, and the Ultrasonic cleaner heats the water even more (but not so much that it would harm the items being washed). I usually run it twice (two 10-minute sessions). Then I drain and rinse each part.

I love this, I was super worried to use it at first because frankly I thought I was going to get electrocuted but I've never had a problem with it and I use it at least once a day to clean baby bottles. I currently have to clean bottles in my bathroom so I got a collapsible bin and I fill that up with dish soap and water and then quickly clean all the bottles with a bottle brush and dish soap and throw them into the bin and throw the ultrasonic cleaner in there and turn it on and when it's done and I rinse out the bottles they smell and look completely clean.
