   This water purifier is amazing. I just tried it out while I went on a hiking trip and it not only turned the water clear but made it taste fresh. At first it seemed kinda complicated to use but then i got the hang out it. You simply put the filter block in the water and pump the water into a cup. Definitely recommend to my hiker friends as it's decently priced compared to other water filter systems.

Not only was the water clear and transparent, but also the taste of the water was changed. In a word, a shopping trip was very satisfactory. The store delivered goods in time, and the service was in place. When using it, the operation is very simple. I specially took two cups of water for comparison.    I am a youth leader and am always on campouts and hikes with descent sized groups. Often we cannot carry enough water and rely on water sources and filters to go the distance. I am not a fan of killing bugs with lights and chemicals and drinking them - just mentally not my favorite. I have tried several water filters and am a fan of this one. My last one of $80 broke when needed and I don't know that I could have afforded a new filter when it came due anyway. Much cheaper than the katadyn but I don't notice a difference. I like the air pump style. I like the concept of the grayl push top, but some youth just don't have the strength to use it once much less fill bottles for a small army. Easy maintenance when done - disassemble and dry. Solid float feature. Even comes with a cute little built in compass. I wouldn't know if it is as clean as advertised without any testing, but seems to be pretty good.

   This thing looks and seems great. Caveat that I haven't used it yet but from many other reviews I believe it fits the bill. It can filter 768 gallons I believe which is a LOT of water. Tip that I read from another reviewer is that you should put a sock (clean or unused if possible) over the end of the filter that goes in the water to filter a bit more of the sand or any larger debris in the water. Small and lightweight is perfect for emergency or camping situations.

   I live in NYC and the tap water here is pretty good so I'm not concern about drinking straight from the tap. But some days of the month the chlorine level is a little stronger, so I do want to have a water filter for this reason. I had one of those filters with the 3 huge canister filters, the ones that you have to install under-the-counter and drilled a hole through your countertop and refit the plumbing to accept the additional water valve but to my horror those canisters leak every year. I disconnected it after the 2nd leakage and decided to try this camping filter. I was very surprised of the water quality it produced! It's small so it doesn't take up too much space and no need for all the strenuous installment routine and I'm worried free of any leakages. I wish I had discovered this before I met the first water filter disaster.

   We have to worry about potable water this time of year here in Florida. Enter this water purification device. So. I put the intake end of this hose in the pool and started pumping. It took a bunch of pumping, but the water that came out on the other end was odor free , tasteless, and crystal vlear ( but it was already clear going in).It's been a couple days since I drank the test batch.    The water has no metallic taste as it does both from the tap and after the Brita filter. After pumping a quart through this filter which takes about a minute the resulting water has absolutely no taste which is the result you want. Mechanically this is well-designed easy to use, disassemble, assemble and doesn't leak.This is the filter that will keep going and Irecommend it to anyone looking for a good water filter.
