I absolutely love this contraption!! I am pretty much hair styling challenged, but love vertical curls. I have every hair styling tool known to woman and this one is the easiest to use and gives me the results I want. When I put too much hair in, it stops and I release my hair and do a smaller section. It is also easy to use on the back of my head. You really do not have to be super precise with this and that is why I can use it so easily. The curling iron is hard for me because I have to do the bottom half of my head first and then do the top. Well, I get the top mixed up with the bottom half that's done. I know, as I said I am challenged. I love the alternating curl function that allows you to have each curl go in a different direction achieving a natural looking kind of beachy wave. I went ahead and bought a second one in case they stop making this. Everyone gives me compliments on my curls now. I have a below the chin length bob. Even my hairdresser complimented me! :)

Amazing! It was easy to use, curled my hair in a matter of minutes and I did not have any hair get stuck in the chamber. Why it worked for me: I have very fine and thin hair so it was easy to get small enough portions of hair to fit in the chamber and I do not have a lot of hair so it took minutes to curl my whole head. I could see how this tool could be more challenging and take longer for someone with normal to thick, full boddied hair. I experimented with the timing of the curls and found when I only kept it in a few seconds (even less than the lowest 8 second setting) I got nice smooth waves instead of the ringlet curls (this also made it much faster to curl all my hair). And a little trick: if you twist the section of hair a couple times it makes it easier to guide it into the chamber and less likely to get caught! Over all, if you have fine, thin hair this is a life changer!!

After doing lots of research I finally ordered this. I was nervous that I would not get an authentic product but this is good and the real deal. It comes with booklet, cleaner, and an extra steam cartilage. I ordered the one with steam. I haven't used the steam feature and I don't think I need to. I wanted loose curls so I used the low setting and 8 seconds. I sectioned my hair and when I came to front I switched from alternate setting to where it's away from my face. I had to use my hands and open curls up a bit and used some argon oil too. Overall it's a great product and it does exactly what it says. If you are good with curling rod then you don't need this. My curls lasted for 3 days. I only got my hair stuck in once and that's because I put too much hair and didn't comb and smooth it out first. You should read instruction book and lots of u tube tutorials on this. Happy curling

I would rate this six stars if I could! When I first took it out of the package I did not read the instructions so I didn't know how to use it and was disappointed with the finished look. I went back and read the instructions and turns out you have to leave your hair in there until you hear several beeps. Once I did it the right way, OMG! I love how quickly and perfectly every curl is created. My hair is very long, almost to the top of my butt, so I was hesitant about allowing this machine to suck it into the device but I had no issues at all.

So far, this has worked perfectly! I'm horrible with hair and far too clumsy to use a normal curling iron without burning myself. This machine sucks up my super thin, very straight hair without burning me or my hair and beeps in 4 seconds to let me know my curl is done. I didn't use any hair products nor did I use the steam option and my curls stayed in all evening. Even after the curls relaxed a bit, it was still curly and added an unexpected volume (as much as flat, straight, thin yet prefectly healthy hair can get).
