   I purchased this lamp to replace a beloved lamp that was beyond fixing, and it's just the perfect lamp for me. It fits very nicely in the corner of my roll top desk, I put a 40 watt bulb in, but the shade became very hot, so I replaced it with a soft white LED bulb (4W equivalent to a 40W bulb). It works out perfectly. Love the amount of light it gives, and it no longer gets hot. Easy to put together, too.
