You have to pull the 2 ends, blue side towards you, the arrow at the top, pass the thread through the V part from right to left, put the white V with the thread on the needle a little above the cat (hole) of the needle, push slightly, slide down gently until the tip goes into the hole. Gently pull the threader back, you will see a little loop, pull it with the little white hook. That's it and it works every time.

It should be noted that these work brilliantly for universal sewing machine needles but Jean needles are too big to fit which is a slight shame.
