Light has all colors in it and to see a specific color, you have to subtract other colors. This little cube can demonstrate that phenomenon.

While you can see the colors begin to mix and blend as you slowly turn the cube, it's better to purchase 2 cubes if you want them for the purpose of showing how to mix colors: you can align the different sides on the cubes to create color mixtures.

It really shows how colors mix, and how colors get made (think color ink printers with cyan, magenta, yellow).
