   Does come with the cable needed to charge, but bring your own plug. I had a 2 A charger that did the trick. Indeed the white & gold version doesn't have the charging indicator (at least at the time of this writing). That'd be a nice add. But at 4000 mAh I don't expect to need to charge it often since using it at the lower settings usually. So I just plugged it in and let it charge for a few hours. (Note, it didn't seem to come with any charge. At least mine didn't respond until I plugged it in.)

   So glad I purchased this light. It's a really pretty design and I use it for different purposes. It has 4 settings, controlled by the touch of the finger. Sometimes I'll sleep with it on the lowest setting or use it for more lighting whenever needed. I initially purchased it to use if the electricity goes out but have used it for much more than that.

   I bought this lamp for myself and loving it. Outstanding construction and gives an excellent four settings of lights. It is a stylish lamp easy to move from place to place. I use it in the garden, as a night light in my bedroom and I take it camping. It gives plenty of light walking at night and gives a nice warm light at the table. I have bought different battery lamps and touch lamps. I will HIGHLY recommend this lamp being the greatest one, and worth the money.

   I wanted a soft light for nighttime feedings in the nursery that didn't have to plug in because the outlet is behind the crib. This light is perfect for the job! The brightest setting lights up the room enough for diaper changes and the lowest setting is perfect for feeding. Customer service was fantastic as well! I reached out thinking it stopped working. Moral of the story, use the cord they sent with the light not your Google pixel charging cord. 🤪 So far the light has stayed charged for a week since I only use it occasionally at night.

   I love these lanterns!!! They are so stylish and beautifully made. There are four levels of brightness with an easy touch and actually the highest setting throws off a great amount of light. Very portable. I cannot comment on battery life as yet as I only used them briefly but so far delighted with them. Highly recommend them!

I bought two for the patio table because the ceiling light is too bright and we wanted something with less light for relaxing, romantic dinner on the patio on warm summer nights.
