   After reading review of several differnt poker sets, I bought this one. I was very pleased with the case (as that was the most negative comment on poker sets in general). This case was sturdy, solid, and well made. There was no shipping damage, nor was there any miss in craftmanship in the lining. The chips were plain but perfectly usable. This set even comes with instructions for various poker games. For someone who plays poker once or twice a month with friends, this set is excellent.

   Awesome start up set! If you've played house games, chances are you've played with this type/style of chips. The feel is and quality of the chips are above the cheap plastic ones and just below casino chips. The case is nice and seems durable. I haven't exactly done a drop test though. Comes with dealer, big, and small blind buttons. Only complaint is the quality of the cards but at least it came with it. Other than that, great quality for the price!

   First time buying poker chips and was very impressed. A few people mentioned the cuts were rough, and the edges of the chips felt rough. Well, no complaints here. They feel very nicely weighted, and no rough edges or burrs on any of the chips. Have used these for 3 poker nights for about 5-6 hours a night, and everyone that has handled the chips has complimented me on how good they feel, and say they weighted nicely. I'm no pro, but can say that these are probably the nicest chips I've held outside of a casino. Not to mention, this is a heck of a deal for the price.

   Good chips for the price and are heavy in the case which adds to the quality. I bought these chips for a casual poker night for me and some of my friends. I have had no issues with these chips, they have a heavy feel and clear colors. The only problem if it's a problem is the dealer, big blind, and little blind buttons. They seemed very cheaply made but I bought this set for the chips and not for the buttons.

This set was longer than our TV trays!!! It is super nice and would work great for groups who may be playing cards, but it is really a bit much if your just looking for a household poker set. Once again, great price, great quality, but rather LARGE set!!! :)

   I decided on this one because the box has 3 latches. Someone mentioned that the ones that have two latches can come from any variety of suppliers, so I figured if this one has 3, that means the shipper is reliably using the same supplier. Also, I was concerned about people who say the chips are rough, smeared, etc. I can see what they mean if you're some kind of poker expert, but come on, get over yourself. I simply didn't want the cheapo plastic set from Wal-Mart because I like to play poker a few times a month and want the feeling of real chips. I wanted a case that's easy to transport and that's about it. This set is awesome.

I'm kind of an occasional poker player so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on chips, but I wanted something kind of nice for when my buddies come over to play. I was a little sceptical after reading some of the reviews, but the price was certainly right on this set. When I unpacked the set, I was totally blown away by the quality. A much nicer set than some of my friends have for half the price they paid. Everything was in perfect condition. The chips are some kind of heavy synthetic material (clay?). They stack well and are nicely finished. The case is excellent and well fitted. Even the cards were good quality. I give this one 5 stars!
