   This fabric is water resistant (not waterproof) and fits well on my sofa with big puffy armrests. It is very easy to clean. Before you remove it to launder, use your hand-held vacuum pet hair attachment. The fur picks up fairly easily. Then remove from sofa and launder. Always looks new if washed on delicate or perm press and dried on low setting with a couple of Bounce dryer sheets. Recommend.

   We purchased two of these covers for our large -shaped power recliner sectional - one side fits great on the long side of the couch, and the other is tucked around a center arm rest so it doesn't look great, but works for our needs. I don't have any great photos of my couch with these covers, but I will say for about a year now, they have really gotten some tough love from two large dogs and a toddler who are all prone to making messes.

   We have had spills and potty training accidents, and the water resistant nature of the fabric has been great -- no leaks on to the couch! Additionally, these covers have been durable in the wash (and they get washed at least a few times a month - sometimes multiple times weekly) and I have had no issues with the fabric/seams coming apart or the straps falling off. The fabric is soft, and the straps really help it stay in place on the back of the sofa.

If it was my right, dogs wouldn't be allowed to be worn, but I outnumbered and the household democracy voted otherwise. I've tried a lot of covers, most are fine but won't stay again. This is the first time I've come across actually lying on furniture. I bought one for our loveseat and I love it so much I will be buying another to cover our couch.

   I've owned these in the passed and as soon after you get up from sitting the cover needs straightening. The saving grace for this cover are the foam tubes you sink into the sofa after placing the cover on. Very rarely do I need to adjust the cover on the sofa; it's stays in place. This is well with the money spent.
