I got this to take off the nuts on my used open trailer that were fused on the first one or two worked well but it wasn't actually the product problem it was actually cuz I had very little room on the other side of the trailer underneath to get to the bolts so actually I had to use this product the nut splitter 2 Tac off little by little down to where I could get the nut off, because I was doing this the blade got stripped and wouldn't stay in place but if you just set it manually up against what you want to split it keeps on working and keeps on ticking.* don't get frustrated if this nut splitter keeps slipping off as you use a ratchet. What I did was I cranked it tight on the nut even in a tight space with the nut splitter once it was in grooved in there I went to the other side and if the nut splitter is wedged on the opposite side or you can hold it then you could use a second ratchet on the other side on the fault to loosen it. The problem I was having with the bolt has the nuts were fused on to them so every time I turned the bolt head the nut would spin

Never used one of these before, but it worked great!Had a rounded-off 19mm nut, clamped the splitter down with Vicegrips, spun it in with an impact, cut right thru the nut easily. The nut didn't fall off, had to back it off slowly, again with Vicegrips, but it's off! Also, if you need the bolt to remain undamaged don't screw the chisel in too far, or it will damage it (see photo). Works easier if you can split both sides of the nut.Also, before using it unscrew the chisel from the chrome part and lubricate it's threads with a little grease or just WD40. Also do NOT overly tighten the set screw! It should be in enough to keep the chisel screw from turning but it should not be tight! I think that's why a lot of people are having trouble with it.

But to be fair, the nut I was cutting is located in a wired location, I can barely see how the blade was contacting the nut. Not to mention this nut has a rim on it.After some trails, i managed to break the nut.The blade looks ok afterwards. It should work just fine for another one or two more projects.

We used this great tool to remove old rusted nuts on sway bar links. Tried pretty much everything, WD40, PB Blaster, Kroil oil, snake oil, heat, nothing worked. With this tool, we were able to make deep cuts into nuts, which (even though cutting through 100%) eased tension and allowed for removing them next with a socket and a breaking bar.Hint #1: once you make cuts, the nut expands, so a larger size socket or wrench may be needed for the next attempt to unscrye it.Hint #2: Make more than one cut into the nut, on multiple sides.

My problem was that I had some brass electrical connectors which had frozen, probably through the heat of the halogen lamps they were connected to. Trying to loosen the small brass screws with a regular electrical screwdriver just meant the heads were mashed. I bought a 1/8th impact screwdriver bit which fitted this tool perfectly. And successfully removed all the frozen screws easily and without any further problems.

I've owned two of these wrenches. I gave one away. I can't believe how high quality they are for how cheap they are. They are build strong. They have out performed the craftsmen ratchets I have owned and they are quite durable. I wish the tool had a longer handle but you can still achieve much with this tool. The biggest job I used this one was my front main seal/ pully. Did a good enough job. Highly recommended. Makes a great addition to anyone's toolbox.
