   I bought this for my niece's 3rd birthday and she absolutely loves it! I noticed she has been enjoying her play kitchen a lot recently, so I thought she might enjoy her own apron and hat. I was happy to find this set. According to her mom, she wants to play in her apron and hat all the time and has a hard time stepping away from her kitchen. Her 5-year-old brother also loves the set and is constantly asking for a turn wearing everything. ;) The accessories are wonderful, too! My niece loves using the rolling pin on anything and everything, and as you can tell from the picture, she loves stuffing as many things as possible into the apron pocket. I definitely recommend this product. :)

   I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter as a Christmas gift. She put it on immediately and started cooking in her little kitchen. (I think she made toast and eggs that morning. They were plastic so I am not sure how they turned out.)The material appears sturdy and looks like it will hold up for a bunch of wearings. It hasn't been washed yet so that will be the real test of durability. The ties were long and attached well. She had no problem getting the apron over her head, either. The hat perched on her head like a real chef - so many of these outfits have small hats or short ties. This one was generous on both counts. She used the utensils that came with it to whip up the plastic eggs. :-) Her mom thought it was cool that a little cookbook came with it.She was thrilled and wore it the entire time we visited.We received the set promptly and in good condition. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a set like this for a preschooler.

   Came quickly and fit my niece perfectly! She is 7yo and about 4'3”. The great thing about this apron is that both the neck strap and the back strap are untied so you are able to adjust the size — so it could definitely fit a large size range of kids! The book is cute however I didn't find much use in it. The cooking utensils are so cute and may be better for the smaller kids. The chef hasn't was adorable and also fit nicely for my niece. Not sure how long the apron and hat would last, the material feels thin... but I don't see it as a big downfall because this is not an everyday wear so it's fun for weekend or holiday projects with your little one.

The included cook book really is for kids too! Every recipe is something that children can do by themselves. Simple ingredients and simple preparation, very little adult intervention needed. It doesn't have many recipes, but each ingredient is shown with a sketch and was very easy for her to understand. Wish I could find a whole cookbook set up like this for a starter cookbook! Kept the apron, and hat on the rest on the day. It is made well. Loved using the wood spoon for stirring her brownies. Wanted to use everything but did not to.
