   So far this is work perfectly for me. Since plugging in my truck has never gone into 4 cylinder mode. Has not seemed to affect my mileage a lot, but I tend to drive pretty conservative anyway. Not sure if it's my imagination or what, but my truck seems to free wheel or Coast better when letting off the gas with less engine / transmission drag to slow me down which in my opinion is a good thing. I installed a sure cool thermostat eliminator in the transmission at the same time which keeps my transmission running much cooler. Very happy with both

   Reading all the reviews and talking to Range support, I knew it was a gamble. With that said, it DID disable my DFM. I have a flowmaster super 44 and without it installed, my DFM would kick the cylinders off which was immediately obvious through the exhaust.It was like driving an electric vehicle and I hated it.Plugged the Range in and the exhaust had a constant growl even going down hill and off the gas pedal.So far, every time I plugged it it, it's worked. I read others that had it not consistently work so I will update in a while if it has issues.

   A little pricey but works with no issues so far after a week of use. Almost bought the cheaper knock off but after reading those reviews with several stating that the unit wiped out their ECM, I didn't want to chance it. Payed the extra and got the genuine original. Plugged it into my 2016 Silverado Z71 5.3L and now have full time V8. Doesn't seem to drain battery either. Love it!

   Highly recommend to anyone with 5.3. Just plug in and your truck will run like a completely different vehicle. No more throttle lag or trying to find the right gear. I was tired of my truck stuttering when trying to go up a hill or from 15-35 under light throttle.Mpg change is basically nothing. I've gotten .1 better after 1,000 miles driving versus the previous 18,000 miles average.

   This works as it is advertised. I have had this for a couple weeks and so far it is GREAT. It keeps my 2017 gmc sierra running on all 8 cylinders like a V8 is supposed to. I just plug it in, start driving and it does what it is supposed to (no disconnecting the battery B.S). It also has made my truck shift better and from a stop it takes off (accelerates) much better. I am so glad I chose to get the Range and not a different AMF/DMF disabler. I will update if I have any of the issues other reviews are mentioning but so far ITS GREAT

   Keeps vehicle in V8 mode at all times. So far, does not seem to have an effect on battery especially, since I only drive it a couple times a week. However, will watch in winter months. Time will tell whether it saved my valve train and lifters by disallowing V4 mode. The mileage, overall, decreased by 1mpg on highway. This is compared to switching back and forth from V4 to V8 mode. So, keeping V8 and full power has only changed highway mileage by very little and is worth it for power, in my opinion. I have not checked the city mileage.
