I've been using it for a while and I'm very pleased with it. Very durable and does its job perfectly. Just be careful not to get it wet as it's cast iron and it will rust. I clean by wiping with a damp cloth and dry immediately.

I can keep this rhythm going, making a perfect tortilla every 30 seconds. That speed would be impossible when using the rolling pin. This juicer works great! I use it for tortillas and cakes and it works great. Use some plastic wrap or parchment paper to prevent sticking and easy cleaning. 8 Inches Tortilla Press lovess

I quickly learned the hard way that if I pour tortillas from a plastic bag into the frying pan, they will be too thin and break (probably my ingredients fault, definitely not the tortilla press), basically they would lose their shape and fall in on their own when I poured them out of the plastic above the frying pan, but if I gingerly lifted the tortilla and brought it to the pan myself instead of letting it fall off the plastic, tortilla woudl not broken. again, I don't use wheat or corn ingredients so I'm not typical.

Very pleased with this purchase, looking forward to using this product for decades to come. My children will fight to solve this problem as my wife and I move on sixty years from now. The listing says this was seasoned last - let's skip that and season it. Use something with a high smoke point for two or three days.

I've read warnings about how the handle breaks for everyone so I was careful not to press on the handle too hard, a light touch was all that was needed anyway. I cut a large ziploc bag along the two longest sides, placed my dough ball between the top and bottom of the plastic film (thus covering the top and bottom of the press) and used it to press the tortillas. with water, psyllium husk and almond meal. I have celiac disease and I'm trying to go on a light or dairy-free keto diet. 8 Inches Tortilla Press is very useful

I immediately started my next tortilla. When done, the first tortilla is ready to flip. I put the second tortilla on the griddle and started the third one. When it's done, the first tortilla is ready to come out of the griddle and the second tortilla is ready to flip. The third tortilla is on the griddle. 8 Inches Tortilla Press !!!

I press gently, moving the flattened tortilla vertically down a bit, gently pressing it again, then moving around again and pressing it one last time. The resulting corn tortillas are nice round, taco-like shapes that measure - 7.5-8" - far, much easier than using a rolling pin or a cake pan to flatten them (those options) not suitable for me) This is a revelation. success!

Seems to be well made (heavy cast iron) and works well. There's not much to these, but it does all the basics right and it's a pretty good price. Not sure how long it will last, but it doesn't seem easy to me (guess the handle breakers put too much pressure on making a tortilla). 8 Inches Tortilla Press very good
