There is no way you could bring a sleeping baby into their room and not wake them up by turning it on. If your baby is falling asleep and you turn it on, they will wake up. We have had this mobile a few days and just to compensate, we will have to cover the speaker with tape so it is the soft sound it should be. Be forwarned of this flaw when purchasing this mobile!!

It has so many different options and I love that the toys on it rattle. It plays nature sounds as well as lullabies and classical music. I haven't even explored all the options yet, all I have to do is turn on the lights and let it rotate while playing lullabies and my daughter will fall asleep sometimes instantly! She is 6 months old and absolutely loves this mobile! So happy with this purchase, it was definitely worth it. The only thing I don't like is the remote and the volume. The remote stopped working the first day (I just need to get a new battery for it though), and the volume of the music and sounds is very hard to adjust. I'll push the volume down button a million times and it seems like nothing ever happens. But the good definitely outweighs the bad, and compared to other mobiles I've seen this one is by far the best in my opinion!
