    For the longest time I wanted to buy these so bad, but I measured my drawer boxes and they were under the minimum 3.25” height. So sad, right? Wrong! It took me a while, but I finally realized I shouldn’t be measuring the height of the actual drawer, but the height of the OPENING that the drawer slides into. To my delight, the opening (shown in pic) was 3.5” tall! I am now the proud owner of 3 of these and am so happy to have a nicely organized drawer!! My only gripe is that I wish the bottom of these organizers popped off easily for cleaning. The bottom DOES come off, BUT it requires undoing lots of teeny tiny screws. Not fun, but then again I only plan to clean it once a year or so.

    I really like this product. I bought two of the single and one of the double. At first I thought I would use the double in the silverware drawer but as you may be able to see in the photo where they’re all lined up, the singles have more space per separate compartment, the compartments are wider. This is essential because I have heavy Oneida silverware, service for 12. My silverware fits perfect. If I tried t fit it all in the double, it would not fit as nicely. Then I ended up using the double in my “mini/random” utensils drawer and it works perfect. I gained A LOT more space in my drawer. My silverware drawer used to be fully taken up by my old organizer. All the extra space you see on the side is new space which is great because adding a little human to our family meant growing our silverware collection, but our drawer didn’t grow....until now. The grippy padding for the bottom of the drawer is key to keep everything in place, especially all the loose odds and end you will now be able to fit in your drawer :)

    Yes, this little utensil try is really that good! I went from using 12 inches of horizontal space in a lovely but huge wooden utensil tray to about using about four inches (whatever the width of this godsend is). It stores my butter knives, steak knives, spoons, forks, and a slew of little teaspoons. I'd guess that the max capacity for each slot is about 10 pieces. For example, I fit four butter knives and four steak knives into the first/knife slot easily, with good wiggle room. This is such a great design. Using this tray opened up about half of my 18-inch wide drawer, which allowed me to decompress the other drawers in my kitchen a bit. I highly recommend this item. It's worth every penny.

Happy I ordered two (and that they fit) but I think that one would not hold the complete service for 8. I've been looking for something like this for years. I gave this 5 stars because it is exactly the best solution for our drawers and this is the only good solution that I have found after many years of searching. However, it would be helpful if the small icon on the slots was a bit more pronounced (bigger, contrasting color, something) as it's hard to see what each slot holds, so I (and others) usually pull out a number of pieces to find what I'm looking for (can't always remember which slot was for what). Other than that it's a clever solution. Thanks!

    Omg you guys this utensil organizer is legit a game changer! Its compact and holds all of my forks, butter knives, and spoons, and even my stainless steel straws. It's literally half the size in width of those utensil organizers you're most familiar with. I have so much drawer space now I almost don't know what to do with it lol (don't worry, it won't become a junk drawer). If you want to organize your silverware drawer, get you this and the knife organizer block they sell. The knife block is next on my buy list because I don't like a bunch of stuff on my counters either. Only thing to point out before you buy is please please please measure your drawers and check the measurements. My drawer is just the right height, length, and depth. You can also use these outside the drawer if that's what you're about. And these don't have to be just for silverware! Artists? Parents with budding artists?? Use this for your art supplies like paint brushes or colored pencils. So many uses!

I got 2 and put one on each side of the drawer. This allowed me to put random things in between them that I had a hard time finding a place for. I should probably mention that I have a service for 16, and it is REALLY, REALLY heavy Oneida flatware. I have a standard size drawer and even the height is fine. They also stay where the heck you put them, even with drawer liner and the way that my husband slams those drawers shut! All around a great purchase!

    Well made in a hard plastic of reasonable thickness. We are between homes & I got this for the new house. Currently using my moms' older flatware & it easily held 8 pieces of each - knife dinner & salad fork, oval shaped soup spoon, & teaspoon - with room to spare. Her set is older & the pieces aren't bulky like some sets. In fact, the knife handles are flat & not very wide. Bigger bulkier sets/pieces might not fit as well, hold fewer pieces. It depends entirely on the size & style of your particular flatware & the number of pieces. Unfortunately I didn't measure the depth of the drawer correctly it was to be used in & it doesn't fit (too long) so it has to go back. If, when we're finally moved, we decide to move things around I'll repurchase these.

    I thought this would be handy, and help with space management in a small apartment. It turned out to be absolutely perfect. It keeps the silverware clean, and stores a lot in a very small space. I love it. I got two, because I inherited my grandmothers silverware, so there are two types of forks and two types of spoons, and I wanted things separate and organized. Two organizers fit side-by-side in a standard apartment drawer. After getting these, I picked up the knife organizer, and it’s just as handy and useful.
