The delicate scarf I used one single strand of fine yarn knitted 400 rows and turned it back on itself for this effect. Am real pleased with the results and no dropped stitches anywhere. For a plastic machine it is real good.

Looked at many of these looms and purchased this one with hesitation after reading some reviews. Is so easy to put together and the knitting results are great. We have had no issues with dropped stitches at all - i think a lot of it is in the way you crank the handle - nice and steady works best and produces lovely hats and scarfs - really pleased we purchased this one and might try a smaller or larger one soon.
