   We have a 5 lb Yorkie poo who is as shy and nervous as can be. It has taken her a year to finally come to me with out running the other direction first. Not sure what happened to her during her first 3 months to make her so sensitive. She also gets car sick when we travel, throwing up after a 30 minute ride. I was hoping that the "Wrap" would work it's wonders on Sadie, but she is so afraid of it that when I put it on her she acts like I am punishing her or worse..I think if I left it on her for any length of time she would throw up just from nervousness. The quality of the product is great! And Sadie looks really cute in it, but it doesn't work for us.

   Works just as well as the brand name thunder shirt at half the price. My sweet min pin is not a fan of storms or just plain heavy rain and this helps keep him from pacing around the house and crying the entire time. He still shivers but it's definitely an Improvement compared to not wearing a wrap for comfort. For some dogs, a wrap is not enough so unless the bad reviews are about quality of the product, ignore those bad reviews and just try this out and see if it works for you(r baby). If it doesn't, return it, and try another method for your Pupper. Don't bash the product because it doesn't help your particular doggo. I did not receive the product for free or discount.

   When I first got the wrap, it didn't help my dog and I wrote a bad review of it. I had planned to return it. I forgot before I went on a trip. I decided to give it another try. When I noticed she was starting to shake, I put it on. Lo and behold it worked. I guess the trick is to put it on when you first hear what upsets your dog or you see the first signs of freaking out. The other two times I used it she was already in full blown panic. Now she lays calmly. I can now recommend this item. I even brought one for my son's dog. I almost bought a Thunder shirt brand because it's what you hear on ads. They cost a lot of $$$. The Mellow shirt is cheaper and just as good ,so save your money.

   OMG!!! This product is amazing. Today is the only 2nd day that my rescued dog has been wearing it & he's so calm now. Yesterday, when I left for work, he still whinned/cried a little bit but not as much as before I put this on him. He also did not try to scratch all the doors to try to open them. He would only to go the front door when he heard something but no scratching/trying to open it.... and today, he didn't even try to came after me to the door when I left for work. He just looked. And when we went to the park this morning, I able to just let him "walk" rig by beside me.... not running with his little steps.... so we went to the enclose park section for the dog & let him run around without a leash.... I will order another one.

   Item arrived in time and in good condition I have a 9 year old dog that is a rescue. She obviously suffered great abuse and neglect and still to this day suffers from PTSD. I was a bit skeptical of this product but will try anything I can to help her. Immediately upon putting the wrap on her she laid down and her breathing slowed. I was amazed and couldn't quite believe my eyes. She usually wakes me up ( sometimes several times) throughout the night and I have to calm her and pet her. I slept the entire night through that night and so did she. I thank whoever invented/marketed this product! Anything I can do to alleviate her symptoms eases my mind more than I can verbally express.    Our little guy Frankie is 6 lbs Chihuahua we got him the xxs in green. It’s very stretchy light weight and soft and doesn’t seem like it will make him hot. We just got it few days ago but people are already setting off fireworks and he is already more calm and not freaked out as much I feel like the more he wears it the better it will get I also tryed it out in the car because he has anxiety and wines and barks when we go through drive through for fast food. So far this as been well worth the money. So he is 6 lbs and his chest around is about 14 in. I will add pics hope this helps and I’m his reg jacket he wears a small or xs depending on the maker. So I would say it your dog will probably wear 1-2 size smaller then there normal size jackets.

   It was like turning off a switch! With daily afternoon storms in south Flotida, my Boxer/Pit mixed would start shaking and panting at the sound of thunder. With July 4th fireworks a couple of days away, I'm glad I ordered this. Like I stated initially, the day this thunder shirt arrived the skies were getting dark so I quickly put it on my dog & the thunder boomers started. She didn't pant or shake, she just went to her doggie bed & laid down. After a 1/2 hour, we were still experiencing thunder boomers, so I checked & she was fast asleep! It's easy to put on & fits snug. It appears to be made with quality materials. We are extremely surprised how well it worked. I recommend any dog owner to give this item a try & hopefully have the same results that we had!

   Our dog has become increasingly noise-sensitive every year (which I understand is common), to the point where last year we had to stay home with her on 4th of July. The nearby high school fires a "cannon" for every touchdown at home games, so after our experience last July 4th, I asked the vet to prescribe something to calm her down before Friday night home football games -- sadly, I didn't see much difference and last fall was awful for our dog. To my surprise she remained calm, and although my husband stayed with her during our community fireworks, she didn't seem distressed at all.    We have a 7yo Spanish Water Dog who has so much nervous energy. Unless you pet her constantly and firmly, she just whines and wiggles with anxiety. One day I put a weighted blanket on her since they sometimes help humans with anxiety. It seemed to help so I searched and found this thunder vest thinking it would be weighted. When it arrived, I almost sent it back immediately b/c it looked too lightweight to have any impact. I decided it didn't hurt to try it briefly. I am amazed. She's been wearing it for 2 days, and I've NEVER seen her so calm. She just lies near your feet peacefully. No more whining or wiggling (which is good for us!) and she seems the most content she's ever been in life. It's like she's getting a constant hug. I never write reviews, but this is the best item I've ever purchased on Amazon!

   We were SO skeptical of this shirt but man we are believers now!!! We have 3 chihuahua mixes 2 of which are very afraid of fireworks, thunder and such. We were so desperate as we live in an area where a lot of people shoot off fireworks and at all times of the year. Because it happens so much all year long, we didn't want to turn to medication and we're hoping for an alternative. We bought them these shirts assuming it was a complete waste, thinking it was an infomercial pipe dream. But I have to tell you, they really do help. Surprised the hell outta us but these shirts have made life much calmer and peaceful again. If the fireworks / thunderstorm are real bad, the pups are still a touch anxious but the shirts make things very manageable. We have gotten to the point where we can't exist without them!!!! If you're on the fence, try them!!!!
