It might be a little smaller (but so is the current Hurricane spin mop) but it is every bit as powerful. And since this is the only one I could find that has a stainless steel mop plate (not plastic!!!) like my original one did, I thought I'd give it a whirl. I'm glad I did. This works even better than the original and even saved me money. Only had it for a short time, but very pleased with this purchase. I would highly recommend this mop.
