Our cat was giving me signs that she wanted fresh water-trying to drink from faucet, only wanting fresh water in her bowl so I purchased this fountain. She loves it! I do, too. It's easy to clean and easy to see when it's getting low on water. I bought the version with the sensor and really glad I did, I just wish it wasn't so sensitive to movement but, otherwise great.

This is a great product at a great price. I have two cats, and one always wanted water from a faucet. So searched for a cat fountain, thinking it would simulate a faucet, and boom. Lots of choices. Chose this over the many others because it was somewhat experimental, as I was not sure my cats would like it and didn't want to pay too much. They love it. The filter, is borderline worthless, but it's all good, I fill it with filtered water. The filter is comparable to a cheap sponge, but at least works to catch hair for example between refills once a week. I highly recommend it, there are much more expensive more impressive looking choices, but I know my cats wouldn't be impressed. They just love this fountain.

Surprising high-quality product for the price. The plastic molded parts fit together with precision. The motor / pump is very quiet and the trickling water noise is actually quite soothing. My cat acclimated to it immediately and it is so nice not to have him sitting on the counter meowing for the water to be turned on. (He has a bowel but we, unfortunately, spoiled him by letting him drink from the faucet). Change the water daily and clean the motor and hopefully this will last a long time. The instructions show cleaning the motor with a brush but one was not included. The what's in the box picture does not show one so I guess you need to supply your own.

I love this little fountain! I used a Drinkwell for years, but it was getting harder to clean the hard water residue from all the nocks and crannies. This little fountain is clear and round and doesn't have the small places to build up hard water residue. It's a little taller than my other fountain and the cats love being able to walk right up and drink and not have to lean over into the water flow. The motor is silent, you just hear the water falling.

I like this smaller design because it can be easily refilled by taking it to the filtered water out of the fridge door. I had a larger model before thinking I wouldn't need to refill it as much but it was bulky and a pain to walk around. The fountain stand is much higher than I thought it'd be.
