Really love this vase! It is a lightweight , so that's why there is a protective brown coating on the sides to prevent scratches during transport. Other reviews showed the coating, complaining the vase is not as pictured but one side clearly states that the film must be removed before use. I scratched at a corner of the coating until it lifted and the whole thing peeled off easily. The vase holds a good amount of water and if you put in a bouquet with floral food, it doesn't look super cloudy like with a typical clear glass vase. Could easily fit a floral arrangement with up to 24-30 stems.
