The rainfly can be clipped on in 2-3 minutes (or less) and keeps you completely dry. I like to sleep under the stars when the weather is good so it is nice to have the piece of mind that if a storm comes rolling in unexpectedly I can get my rainfly on very quickly. This comes with everything you need. It even has a couple of nice aluminum stakes and some bungee line in-order to keep the hammock for flipping as it will with no weight in it due to it being top heavy with the poles holding up the bug-net. It comes with a bag to put the poles in, a separate bag for the stakes, and a third bag that will hold everything. I will update my post with some pictures of the gear packed up after it stops raining to show how small and compact it is. If you are on the fence about this GO FOR IT! I promise you will not be disappointed.

This is my second camping hammock that I have purchased. My first one I purchased 2 years ago and fell in love with how easy, light, and comfortable they are, but the bug net and rain fly was always a pain so I was looking to upgrade to a better easier type. I go on a couple of pretty serious canoe/hiking trips every year and I know everyone else is going to be jealous or they will purchase this as well. With this hammock I hit the jackpot! It is pretty light and the poles that keep the bug net up keep you from turning into a �taco.� I received this item and immediately set it up because I knew that some rain was coming. It rained for 8+ hours straight and the sleeping area was 100% dry. I haven�t slept in it yet but I know it is going to out perform my old set-up.

Tested out for two nights and was great. Great features inside with couple of pockets and hooks for lights etc. Packed down and went back in bag without any stress. Great quality item and would recommend to all would be hammock campers. Will be really testing it shortly on a 3 day cycle hammock adventure in Scotland can't wait. For everyone's health and wellbeing I would advise getting a hammock as even just relaxing lying in it gently swaying is excellent. Will be looking at all other night cat products.

I finally was able to have my camping hammock set up on a camping trip, and LOVE it already!! I’m currently laying in it as I write this review haha. It is a blessing to have and is very spacious/comfortable to lay in. I also really appreciate the mosquito netting to keep pesky bugs out as I try to relax and enjoy the beautiful day that the Lord has given. I haven’t been able to use the rain fly yet but I’m sure it works just fine. Maybe I can update this review after trying it out. It is a bit expensive but I think it was worth the money. Also came with tree straps, which were relatively short.i would recommend getting your own straps if you're going backpacking or camping where you can just go and get other straps on a whim. The price was great. I bought a $50 ENO hammock that was just the hammock, and the quality of this was similar, but didn't come with the bugnet or tarp. I would buy this 10x over if I needed it. Get good straps and you're golden if hammock camping is your thing.

This is the highest quality hammock tent I've seen by far! Well constructed, easy to put up. The mosquito net really keeps the bugs out and unlike many other hammock tents that have nothing but the mosquito net above you, this is actually a tent and the mosquito net is more like a flap door giving you much more comfort and privacy. It all fits compactly in a pouch for easy transport. Not too heavy for backpacking and certainly lighter than lugging a tent. I found for the quality it was a good value. Spend the extra money on this unit.

After the second time I used I realized the screen doesn’t fall down in the middle, like another reviewer stated, IF you tie each line holding the screen up to a tree towards the outside of the hammock, eg NOT the centerline of the hammock. Probably easiest to tie each line to the edges of the tarp. Now the bug screen doesn’t fall all over you! Still waiting to see how durable it is as that takes a year or more to tell. I wish it hadn’t spreader bars but that’s a bit much to expect at this price point

Just as a reference point, the seller claims the hammock can hold about 300 KG (~660 lbs). I weight about 260 lbs (118 kg) and am 6 ft. tall. The hammock is extremely light weight and I was afraid that when I got into it, it would split at all the seems and by butt would hit the ground. Now, I have only used it for one weekend hiking trip; but it did hold me just fine. In fact, it did not seem to sag at all, but stayed taunt (the ropes I used to tie it to the trees did stretch some, but the hammock held just fine).

I liked this hammock over other ones because of the heavy duty tree straps , and the mosquito netting. My daughter had an old hammock and the straps let go and she fell so that’s why we really liked this hammock system. The heavy duty strapping system reassures me that this hammock will stay where we put it. The netting with a hammock is a must when camping in the Adirondack mountains. Then there’s a rain fly that comes with it as well. You get everything you need. We can’t wait to go camping with it.

I ordered two of these. I got one for my son and the other for myself. We really Loved this product. It was lightweight and held up great over a 5 day and night camping trip. We had rain one night and the rain fly was just right to keep my son and myself dry. The attached big net worked great as well and I did not get bit by mosquitoes while I slept. For the price it is a great investment. May want to get different straps for it though as the ones it comes with make it harder to secure to a tree.
