   I bought this about cheaper o than . It's very easy to use and projects a red arrow onto the wall to mark the edge of the stud you find. There are two felt pads on the bottom that touches the wall and it never left a mark on my walls as I used it. You do have to buy your battery as it is not included. Good value, accurate functionality, easy to use = buy one.

   As a homeowner this tool is invaluable and works flawlessly. Every time I've used it it has been 100% accurate at finding stud centers for pictures and shelving etc. I've tested it in my garage on a sample scale wall with electrical and a few metal studs and it picks out everything.

   This sensor works great. It's just what I needed. I originally used a magnetic stud finder but I found that a good bit of my studs are nailed off center causing me to drill into the edge of the stud. This sensor allows me to find the edges of the stud and properly place holes in the center. I've used it quite a bit so far.

   I only had a cheap stud finder before, so I didn't know how good these could be. The deep scan and metal scan are invaluable when looking for hard to find studs. So far I've mounted up 3 TV mounts using this and it made the process a breeze and worry free.
