   Lamp is just what I was expecting. Instructions was quick and easy. Be careful and use distilled water and add just the right amount of liquid dishwasher detergent soap. I accidently added a little too much of soap and in my tank it look like it was cloudy but it was just the soap mixed in with the water, it isn't too distracting but still noticeable when the lamp was on. I was concerned when first putting the jellyfish in the tank that the jellyfish would stay to the top of the tank but after ten minutes the jellyfish were moving everywhere in the tank. I used a chopstick to push the jellyfish down far into the tank so be sure to use something similar instead of using your hand, it's much easier. It's very cool and it looks just like real jellyfish. The only downside to this lamp is that it's a little pricey but still happy with my purchase. Would buy it again.

   This lamp has to be the coolest night light I've come across. I recently took my 7 year old son to the aquarium and we saw this same product in the gift shop (you know how prices are in gift shops) for $130, but he fell in love with it. I found it here for $50 less, and his grandmother ordered it for his birthday. It arrived quickly and it's absolutely mesmerizing to watch. It's whisper quiet, has somewhat realistic movement with the jellyfish, and has bright color changing lights. You can also set the color to one solid color if you have a favorite (I prefer the blue, it makes the jellyfish pop.)

   We absolutely love this!!!! It is so mesmerizing and relaxing watching this. Next best thing to an actual live aquarium which is documented that watching fish is calming. These are like watching live jelly fish swimming. And then the awesome lighting cycle it goes through is just another great addition to this product. There are only 2 jellyfish in the container, but the way it is made when it is on, the reflection makes it look like there are 4. The only con I would say is that, just like lava lamps, the base and top are in that stark black heavy plastic, just like a lot of the lava lamps , which doesn’t always look as maybe as attractive as you’d want depending on what rooms you’d may want to have it in to fit in with the decor. The bottom line is that whoever created this is a genius. Would buy other things from this seller!

   Just got mine. Went for the big one, as it got better reviews than did the smaller models. Setup was easy and now our new pets are "swimming" around. I had planned to take it in to school and put it on my desk, but I've got it set up at my house right now and I'm re-thinking that idea. I don't want the students zoning out to them. So far well worth the money. Hypnotic. My first "Lava Lamp," and I came of age in the mid 60's when everyone had them. Somehow I missed out then (had the rock and roll records, the paisley shirts, the wide wale cords, the drugs and the waterbed, but no lamp) Well, I still have the rock and roll (on CDs and FLAC files) and a lamp. Better late than never..

   We absolutely love it! Followed the instructions on setting it up and it's absolutely mesmerizing to look at. No problems with the jellyfish at all. They're so lifelike it's unreal! I love that it's on a timer and you can change your color options. One of the best gifts from my hubby and it fits right in with our beach themed home.

   Love this jellyfish lamp. I have it in my office at work and it creates a very calming effect! I like that the jellyfish aren't real so I don't feel guilty about "caging" them in a container. And, there's no feeding them! You can choose the color you want or let the lamp circulate through multiple colors. I may order one for home!

   Okay so I've been on a decor binge lately. I was throwing a blacklight party and wanted to create perfect ambiance. When I ran across this little thing I knew I had to give it a go. Firstly, I was delighted and the flowtation of the jellyfish. When you plug it in there's a little pump that helps them move around but you wouldn't know it unless you set it up. The atmosphere it created was fantastic. Perfect for my blacklight party. I almost wish they had a mega size version of this. Would buy that in a heartbeat!

   I absolutely love this! I bought it for my 3 month old because he gets bored easy and loves things that light up. After going to an aquarium I found out he loves glow fish, but I dont have time to clean up after real fish, so found this instead! He is mesmerized by it and coos at it. I am also in love with it.    Ok, This is only an hour in, but I am still in love. Mesmerizing. I made sure I followed the instructions exactly, as this was too expensive to make a user error mistake. Used distilled water. Used a few more drops of dish soap, based on others reviews. Made sure to place the jelly fish upside down and prod with a straw to avoid bubbles. I adore this!! No idea how it works .    Saw this tank on our last cruise ship vacation and knew I needed to get one for my husband! At first he thought it was another goofy thing I’m always buying but after setting it up he soon changed his mind. We set it up in front of a mirror on hutch so even though only 2 squid in there it appears like more! The colors are so pretty, I love that it makes no noise (like aquarium does) - not to mention there’s no feeding or cleaning to be done! The grandkids absolutely love it and it’s quite mesmerizing and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this. I did purchase extra little swimmers but so far the two are quite sufficient.
