Well, we each needed a set to ourselves, hence the idea to "gift her" several sets so she and her girls can be together in the kitchen with enough measuring tools to go around when they bake together again at Christmas or special occasions.    You know what really grinds my gears? Cooking instructions on packages in small print or reverse type. Yeah, I am a boomer and the vision up close is not so great anymore. These cups were designed for me because I need a number to tell the difference between the various sizes. Before I got these I discovered I was using a 3/4 cup as a 1 cup measure and everything was tasting like crap. Now it still tastes like crap, but it is not due to the measurements at least.
