The cards (of which there are many) simply slide into the machine, which automatically recognises them and says out loud what the card depicts. The children love being able to listen and react and then repeat what has been said. It is fun and gentle way for SEN and other children to learn, and they have had a lot of fun with it so far. It is well made and brightly designed and there are plenty of cards to get through. I highly recommend it, and so does my mom. 5*
