I have struggled and suffered from back pain for most of my life. I remember being in school and my backpack being so heavy sometimes, that it was hard to carry on my back. I would have to rotate it from my back to my front while walking to or from school. The pain would be so intense sometimes it would distract me from class. All my brain could concentrate on was the burning and tingling sensation in my neck and in between my shoulder blades. I would try to massage it to relieve the pain but it was never enough. I would beg my little brothers, friends, and parents, literally anyone I could, to dig their elbows into my shoulder blade muscles. They could dig their elbow into my muscles for hours and I am telling you, it never was enough. The second they would stop the pain would be there again and hurt even worse. You know when your foot falls asleep and you get that fuzzy tingling feeling? Well it was like that, but more like pins and needles. It would tingle all day long and then burn all night from tingling all day it seemed like. Due to the heavy backpack, my posture was horrible. I constantly struggled with my posture, even into my adult life and to this very day. I try to roll my shoulders back on my own, but I always feel like I looked unnatural As if I was trying to hard, and trying to push out my chest. I have known for awhile now that I needed help with this, so I began to look for something to help me with my posture. My grandma use to warn me if didn't fix my posture, that I would end up looking like the hunch back of Notre dame! Nobody wants that! Plus in my adult life, my pain tolerance has dwindled from the many years of suffering from the constant pain in my shoulders. Enough was enough. I am so thankful I found this product! The padding is great! Making it very comfortable, so I am able to wear this brace all day long without any discomfort. I was worried it would make me look/feel funny, but it helps pull back my shoulders and also looks helps me look natural while doing so. You can wear this easily over your clothes or under it, if you want or need it hidden. I especially love wearing this while working because I dont have to constantly think about and remind myself to pull my shoulders back, because this helps me automatically do so. I just received this yesterday. I have tried about 4 different supports to help keep the posture erect, including full back and two others similar to this brand. What I like about this is it has two loops on the horizontal back straps to thread each strap through to keep them in place, along with extensions for those of us who wish to secure the straps up higher. These two features also make it easier to grab the straps and loosen them when removing.

It is flexible with pretty good padding, so it's not quite as stiff as some others I tried. Part of the straps are elasticized. I don't know yet if this is a good thing or not. So far it works for me. It has a slightly longer back area than the others I tried and since my back is slightly curved from slouching over the years, I find this helpful. Like others have noted it does feel like wearing a back pack without any weight.

Like all of these kind, straps go under your arms, so you will feel it. If you pull it too tight it could be uncomfortable to some. I loosened it a bit and it is ok with the padding on the straps and still seems to pull back on the shoulders. Actually, when the shoulders are pulled back, I don't feel any discomfort under the arms. I think it probably needs to be adjusted periodically, because the body can shift during the day and also from day to day depending on activity.

I will post later after I've used for a week or so to advise how I'm doing with it. So far so good!

Very comfortable. Fixes posture without restricting movement. It's almost like nothing is there but it noticeably keeps the shoulders back and supports them. It eliminates my upper back pain when sitting at a computer or doing routine things like laundry.

Definitely works. Main thing is, as directions state, start out 15 minutes a day and not too tight. Always wear over a tee shirt. Good quality. Came with a coupon for 99% off of an identical product. We'll see how that works out. All good so far.

I usually do not review my purchases. I should, since they are what I rely on when making a selection. I always put it off until I forget. This product as amazed me so much, that I feel I must share my review NOW! I think I may have owned this for 24 hours, and already it has made a huge difference in my life. As soon as I got the package, I opened it and tried it on right away. I have been a 'slumper' since I was a teen - my Dad used to tell me to stand up straight! When I see pictures of myself, I look awful, all slumped shoulders and stooping over. Lately, I have felt a hump beginning to form in my upper spine, near my neck, and it's been painful. I decided it was time to look for a solution to all of those problems, and this is what I found. Wow. Already, I feel a difference. I wore it while driving, and while working - my work consists of being on my feet a lot, and doing some heavy lifting, too. My back felt RELIEF the whole time I wore it - having my shoulders pulled back actually lessened the strain on my upper spine, and it felt WONDERFUL. I made sure I brought it, because I know I'd need the support at least later on in the day, and I ended up wearing it sooner that I expected to. It not only immediately helped me with support for my back while walking, but I actually felt GOOD. It was almost as though this item was stretching my back as I walked. After being on my feet and walking most of the day (my daughter tells me close to 7 miles), my back felt fine - no sore, achy muscles. No fatigue. It is the best thing I've purchased in a long time as far as money to value!!

I received my Truweo posture corrector within a day of ordering it. I have to say first and foremost I was very pleased with the instructions. Not only were they in English but they had color pictures with easy to follow instructions on how to set it up (although my was technically already set up). They also provide a link to watch a video if needed. Now I'm a small woman 5'2, 100 lbs so I was a little worried it might not fit me. But sure enough I was able to pull the straps all the way to the top middle. The straps are a soft stretchy material almost like wet suit material but softer and stretchier. Although not to thin. Interestingly the Velcro adheres to this matierial which was great because it allowed me to utilize the entire length of the back strap to tighten it up without loosing the flexibility. Although, for those that might be bigger, they also include extender pieces! I have pretty bad scoliosis and over the years my posture has become pretty bad. I'm not sure how much I anticipate this will correct my posture long term but I can see the potential for it to be helpful if I use it regularly. I will say this, when I'm wearing the Truweo my posture is way better! However, it has the potential (and their instructions state this) to pinch or pull under the arm pit area, so it is recommended to wear it in 15 min increments and work your time up. Which is what I'v been doing. I wear it around the house and am not really bothered by a pinch in the arm pit area or any other part of my back, but I could see how this might be a problem for some people who have a little more meat on their bones. All in all I'm pretty happy with my purchase. The only thing I'd like to maybe see change in an updated version would be if they did a scooped out or narrowed area that comes down under the arm pit, and/or maybe an elastic strap that comes across the front that keeps it from pulling under the arm pits. In addition right now they are providing an email address to get a 99% of coupon for a second one. (If your wearing it under clothes or during times where you might be sweating I could see it needing to be washed and hung dry.

This is a great posture corrector! I wear it while I am working at my desk job and around the house. As a petite woman I was primary concerned it would not fit me well but I was relieved when i received it in the mail and tried it on …. And it does! The straps feel a little tight near the armpit area but I understand that it's doing it's job. I am 5'1 and have a slightly wider upper back and shoulder area for my height I think. Shoulder to shoulder my measurements are 38 inches around . Hope this review helps others.

Considering the price and mixed reviews about these types of products in general I wasn't expecting much. However, I was truly surprised at the quality and thought that went into this product. They made the straps stretchy, padded, and ensured the whole thing was relatively breathable. Making it really comfortable while still helping you to stand up straight. Being comfortable does seem to cause the support to be a bit lacking compared to more thorough braces however I think it's worth it in this case. After all this type of product shouldn't be used to cure all you're back problems. Rather it should be used as a temporary measure to help stretch your tight muscles and get you into the habit of standing straight, improving your posture. I also am not recommending this product for back pain, I'm using it to help with my terrible posture and I can see it might lack support for more serious back issues. For example, to put in on you kind of need to shove your arms through the loops like a teeny back pack and then reach behind your back to yank the back part into position. This is fine if you have normal flexibility but I can see it being a bad idea if you are looking for it to help with more serious issues. Also it doesn't support the lower back which isn't a problem if you're trying to stand up straight and don't want those muscles getting weaker but it's not to be confused with a true back brace. Overall, I believe it deserves 5 stars for helping you stand straighter, being very affordable, high quality, and even designed to be hidden under the clothes so you don't advertise to the world that you're wearing a brace

A insta influencer recommended this product a while back ago. Probably not this brand or who knows. I bought this for myself because I was having upper back pains all of a sudden. I started working in an office a few months ago and I thought, maybe I'm sitting too long. I felt the difference in wearing it and I thought about my mom. My mom scrunches a lot and she was told her backbone has crunched down a lot due to bad posture. She can't lift her arms above her head and she is losing feeling in her right arm. So, I gave it to her to try and if she likes it, I'll order another for myself. She tried it for a day and loved it. My family and I were out of country at that time visiting my relatives. My aunt heard about it and tried it on. My mom gave it her to keep. Told my aunt that it's no problem for her to keep if she likes it because I can order more. So I order 2 more for my mom and I when we came back.

Well, it turns out I had indigestion and wasn't really because of my posture (yet lol). My mom told me to get another one because my dad tried it and felt a difference in wearing it. And I said, "he can have mine." My mom's response? "The thing is, I told my hairdresser about it and she wants one."
