I don't write many reviews, but this product worked extremely well. We had a kitchen sink clog that was deep down the pipe, so the little drainers you see when you search for a sink snake would not have worked. It pulled out a massive clump including a popsicle stick. There have been some comments on the need to tighten the clamp, but that's just how it works. You loosen, extend until you hit a clump, tighten and then turn the handle. This sometimes loosens the clog, but you need to extend further and do it again (so need to loosen the clamp, extend, re-tighten, etc). Anyway, great tool and save me a plumber.

Using this I was able to get through the turns of the pipe and eventually could feel the blockage - pushed a little harder and things free'd up. When I removed the snake there wasn't much on the end so wouldn't say it "removed" the debris - but it broke it up and cleared things enough to avoid water backup.

Went down about 5 feet before catching a ball of hair and other things I don't want to describe here. Note that you need to untighten the screw and let it out a bit at a time, tighten the screw and spin it with the handle and when it goes down some more, untighten the screw and let out some more and repeat.

After trying out draino and a 24" drain cleaning flexible line from home depot, I was ready to call the plumber for the sink drain that remained clogged. This snake auger worked. I removed the p trap under the sink and fed the line from there. Pushed it down the drain around 15 feet. Reconnected the drain and the drain was unclogged and fully restored to the intended flow rate. This saved me a plumber call and I have the auger for any future needs to boot!

This product works like a charm! I actually had a plumber come out and clean the sink trap, thought that resolved the issue, then 2 days later it wouldn't drain again. Bought this tool, went in the drain about half way with it, and found the clog. I literally know nothing about plumbing and I successfully used this tool. The hardest part was getting the hair off the tool when I got it out. Also comes with gloves thank goodness, but one of mine had a tear in it (noticed while I was pulling off the gunk 🤢) I definitely recommend it!
